Idea and Concept
Central to all our projects is a narrative and the development of the idea of how we tell it is where it all begins.
Every project begins in its own unique way—whether we’re developing an idea from scratch, working closely with a client to bring their vision to life, or building upon an existing concept. In each case, we engage in a dedicated period of collaboration, working alongside our clients and partners. We delve deep into themes, subject matter, and sources of inspiration, ensuring a complete understanding of the narrative, allowing us to craft the most compelling way to tell that story.
Idea and Concept

Development and Pre Production
Once the idea is conceived, we enter the development and pre-production phase, evolving and refining design concepts, while ensuring feasibility within budget and production constraints. During this stage, we craft the narrative, draft scripts, produce storyboards, develop the look and feel of the visual components, define how the audio will sound, conduct location surveys and 3D scans, create demos of our designs, along with pre-visualisations, allowing us to clearly communicate our vision with clients and collaborators.
During this phase, we also begin the technical design process, exploring the best solutions to bring our work to life for audiences. We focus on how the project will be experienced and seamlessly integrated into its environment, whether it’s a stage, immersive experience, museum, visitor attraction, or even the interior or exterior of a grade 1 listed building.

Once we have finalised the storyboards and AV concepts, we move into the detailed design and production phase, where we begin creating the media audiences will experience—graphic design, illustration, 3D design, animation, live-action filming, editing, compositing, motion capture, interactive development, music composition, and sound design.
During this stage, we leverage VR and AR technologies to present and share advanced pre-visualizations with clients, enhancing collaboration and engagement. We also conduct rigorous testing of AV hardware and software, working closely with production designers and set builders to ensure seamless integration into physical designs.
