ROMAN BRITAIN IN COLOUR

THE GREAT NORTH MUSEUM: HANCOCK

Roman Britain in Colour is a permanent installation that we produced for the Great North Museum in Newcastle. For the project we projection mapped seven Roman alters revealing how colourful they were when made 1900 years ago, alongside animations that offer interpretations of the alters and the gods associated with them.

The installation is a collaboration between the Great North Museum and Hadrian’s Wall Community Archaeology Project (WallCAP), and NOVAK.
