NOVAK and Ed Carter, in collaboration with Right Up Your Street, present TECTONIC, an immersive audio visual projection mapping of the interior of Doncaster Minster.

TECTONIC utilised the detailed architectural structure of Doncaster Minster’s upper interior as a visual canvas. Projected content highlighted, augmented, and transformed this intricate structure, presenting a visual language unique to this beautiful location.

The accompanying sound piece responded to the visual cues woven into animated projections, sonically exploring how we experience rhythm and dynamics not only aurally, but also visually, and through our interactions with the built environment. TECTONIC was presented as part of DN Festival of Light which ran from the 22nd to the 27th November 2019.
