The Brief
Bringing the Iconic Disclosure Face to Life
The challenge was to design animated content that would not only complement Disclosure’s high-energy performance but also push the boundaries of stage visuals. A key focus was the duo’s signature face logo—a now-iconic visual motif. NOVAK was tasked with animating this face in real-time, using face-tracking data to make it appear as though the figure was singing directly to the audience, eerily floating above the band. Additionally, NOVAK needed to integrate projection mapping techniques that would create 3D illusions on stage, enhancing the impact of key moments within the set—most notably for the global hit White Noise.

Our Response
A Mesmerizing Fusion of Music and Motion
Working closely with Will Potts, NOVAK designed an immersive animated visual identity for Disclosure’s live shows. Using advanced face-tracking technology, the duo’s iconic face logo was transformed into a lifelike, singing entity, adding a surreal, otherworldly dimension to the performance. Projection mapping played a pivotal role in creating illusions of physical objects on stage. The most striking example of this was during White Noise, where NOVAK introduced a floating 3D diamond, pulsating and shimmering in perfect sync with the beat. This sparkling geometric form appeared to hover above the stage, seamlessly blending with the lighting design to create a hypnotic, high-impact spectacle. From massive festival crowds to intimate club settings, NOVAK’s bold, synchronized visuals brought Disclosure’s music to life—enhancing their global performances and leaving audiences entranced by a show where sound and vision became one.

NOVAK handled my demanding design brief brilliantly and are continuing to develop the show to further success!
