The Brief
Bringing the Seasons to Life
Kew Gardens sought an innovative way to engage visitors by showcasing the beauty and rhythm of the natural world. The goal was to create an installation that would reflect the cyclical nature of the seasons, using a blend of art, technology, and sound to deepen the connection between visitors and the changing landscapes of the gardens.

The Cylcles of Nature
NOVAK responded by crafting Earth Tones, an installation that transforms Holly Walk into a dynamic, living canvas. Using cutting-edge floor projection technology, the piece presents an ever-changing sequence of colorful landscapes, capturing the essence of the seasons in vivid detail. The immersive visuals are complemented by a bespoke multi-channel musical score, designed to mirror the natural rhythms of the projections. This harmonious fusion of sight and sound creates a reflective and meditative experience, allowing visitors to immerse themselves fully in the beauty of nature’s cycles.
