NOVAK crafted a series of stunning projection-mapped animations tailored to the event’s international themes. For the Great Britain and Asia nights, where the main events took place inside the Students’ Union, NOVAK designed short but powerful animated sequences, transforming the building’s façade into a bold, illuminated beacon for the celebrations. For the Brazilian-themed night, which took the carnival atmosphere outdoors, NOVAK delivered a high-energy, immersive audio-visual spectacle, turning the venue into a vibrant explosion of colour, movement, and rhythm. The projection mapping not only enhanced the party atmosphere but also ensured that Newcastle University’s newest students received a welcome unlike any other. Beyond the creative execution, NOVAK managed the entire project from concept to delivery, handling all technical aspects, liaising with university staff and local businesses to ensure a seamless, safe, and spectacular event. Through careful planning and collaboration, NOVAK helped to make Newcastle University’s Freshers Week an unforgettable experience, setting the stage for an exciting start to student life.
